The peer mentor students have the opportunity to participate in two successful programs:

Interactive Read Aloud: OHS peer mentors select a book and read to their assigned classroom. The peer mentor builds the knowledge and comprehension of their class while they ask students to predict the story; asking open-ended questions, as well as if they can help summarize the story.

Read Across America: in honor of Dr. Seuss' Birthday peer mentors dress up as Dr. Seuss characters and read Dr. Seuss books to elementary students.
